Beta terms
Tiento Quote beta terms
Tiento Quote is an invite-only beta for selected machining workshops. This page states plainly what the product does and does not promise during this phase, so there are no surprises on either side.
Invite-only access
Tiento Quote is in an invite-only beta. Workshop accounts are created manually by the Tiento team for selected workshops; there is no public signup. We may decline, pause, or close beta accounts as the programme evolves — if we ever need to close yours, we will tell you first and help you get your data out.
Quote outputs are draft estimates
Prices produced by Tiento Quote are draft estimates intended to support your own quote preparation. They are not binding commercial offers from Tiento or from anyone else, and they only become your offer to your customer when you have reviewed them, adjusted them where needed, and issued them yourself.
New accounts start on the Tiento baseline estimate, which is not calibrated to your shop. Estimates can be approximate and may need manual correction — the product shows which estimate source produced each price and lets you override the final price before issuing.
Manufacturability (DFM) notes are experimental
DFM and manufacturability indicators shown in the product are experimental review guidance only. They are still being validated, they do not affect the priced total, and they do not determine whether a part can actually be manufactured. Final manufacturability and pricing decisions are yours.
Availability and support during beta
This is beta software running on a small infrastructure footprint. We work to keep it reliable, but there is no guaranteed uptime, no formal SLA, and short interruptions can happen, including during deploys.
Onboarding and support are manual and personal during the beta: you deal directly with the team.
Support contact: david@wellsglobal.eu. We answer beta support questions personally; response times are best-effort, normally within one business day.
Confidentiality and your data
Uploaded models and quoting data are treated as confidential business data belonging to your workshop and are not shared across accounts. How files and derived data are handled, retained, and deleted is described on the Privacy & data page. If your parts require specific confidentiality commitments beyond that, raise it with us before uploading them.
Paid use, cancellation, and refunds
The product has no automated billing, subscriptions, or payments. Any paid participation in the beta is agreed separately and in writing (a simple offline beta agreement), including price, cancellation, and refund terms. Until such an agreement exists for your workshop, beta access is provided without charge and without payment obligations in the product.
Changes during the beta
Features, limits, and this wording will change as the beta progresses. Material changes that affect your data or any paid arrangement will be communicated to participating workshops directly. This page is an informational summary, not lawyer-drafted contract text.
